Basketball Recap: United Takes a Loss

United lost against Bishop McCort back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The United Lions took a 59-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop McCort Crushers.

When it comes to explaining why United lost, don't look at Dmitri Worthington. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-15 en route to 17 points. What's more, Worthington also posted a 47% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ryan Felix, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 12 points.

United's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Bishop McCort, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-11.

United does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop McCort, they will head out to face off against Portage at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Portage is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60 points per game this season.
