Basketball Game Preview: Watseka Warriors vs. St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans + How To Watch

Watseka is 0-4 against St. Joseph-Ogden since December of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. Having just played yesterday, the Warriors will jump right back in to play the Spartans at 6:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Watseka is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest victory since January 14th on Wednesday. They slipped by Oakwood 55-54.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph-Ogden had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, posting a 66-30 win. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won four in a row.

Watseka was dealt a bruising 60-27 defeat at the hands of St. Joseph-Ogden when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
