Eastern Christian HomeSchool dropped their record down to 10-2 on Thursday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wilson Christian Academy Chargers. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Trailblazers couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Wilson Christian Academy, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games.

For Wilson Christian Academy's part, Stevie Cressionnie spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up nine Ks. Cressionnie has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Allie Miller, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie McBryde, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

While Eastern Christian HomeSchool had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
