Volleyball Recap: Lockwood Comes Up Short

Lockwood lost against East Helena back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The LIONS fell just short of the Vigilantes by a score of 3-2. The LIONS have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Lockwood came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 20-25, 25-23, 25-22, 15-13.

Despite the loss, Lockwood still got an impressive performance from Tessa Ketterling, who had 22 digs and three assists. Ketterling has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Lockwood's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for East Helena, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 4-5 record.

Coincidentally, Lockwood and East Helena will both be playing Hardin the next time they take the court. The Vigilantes will host the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the LIONS will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
