The Casady Cyclones will head out on the road to square off against the Washington Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Casady knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Washington likes a good challenge.
On Tuesday, Casady got the win against Anadarko by a conclusive 17-2. The Cyclones might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Kyler Tice was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 1-for-3. Casady is 5-1 when Tice posts two or more runs, but 4-5 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jozef Pikula, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Davis Currie was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Casady always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .567 or higher in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Washington came up short against Amber-Pocasset on Monday and fell 5-1. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Mayson Thomas made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Keltner, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.
Casady is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.
Washington's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Casady hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .340. It's a different story for Washington, though, as they've only averaged .247. Will they be able to contain Casady's hitters?
