Baseball Recap: McDowell Comes Up Short

After soaring to 20 runs the game before, McDowell was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell 4-1 to the Asheville Cougars. The defeat continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost nine in a row.

McDowell saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Danny Brown, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

McDowell now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Asheville, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Coming up, McDowell will challenge T.C. Roberson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Asheville, they will take on West Henderson at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
