Volleyball Recap: Nelson County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Nelson County was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of William Campbell last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Governors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Altavista Colonels on Tuesday. The Governors haven't had much luck with the Colonels recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Nelson County's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Altavista, their win ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 2-10.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Nelson County is set to face off against their familiar foe Appomattox County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Altavista will challenge rival Gretna at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
