Faith Baptist Christian Academy had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Savannah Athletic Association on Tuesday. The Crusaders were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Jaguars. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Crusaders this season.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 25-16.

Sophie Sellars paced Faith Baptist Christian Academy's offense, picking up 11 kills. Sellars got some help from Lexi Vasquez and her 12 assists. Vasquez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Faith Baptist Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Savannah Athletic Association, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Baptist Christian Academy will square off against Appling Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Crusaders their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Savannah Athletic Association, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Memorial Day at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
