Basketball Recap: Augusta Takes a Loss

Augusta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 71-56 bruising from the Whitehall Norse. The Beavers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Norse from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Whitehall, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Augusta will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pepin/Alma at 7:15 p.m. Augusta knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Pepin/Alma likes a good challenge. As for Whitehall, they will challenge Eleva-Strum at 7:15 p.m. on January 17th.
