Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pioneer). Everything went their way against the McAllen Bulldogs on Friday as they made off with a 19-6 victory. Considering the Diamondbacks have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Pioneer has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for McAllen, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-7 record.

Pioneer will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mission Veterans Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for McAllen, they will face off against Vela at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
