North Greene's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Cherokee Chiefs. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

North Greene has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Cherokee, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

North Greene wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-0 victory against Unaka on the 29th. Cherokee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
