Softball Game Preview: Phillips Academy Big Blue vs. St. Paul's Big Red

The Phillips Academy Big Blue will venture away from home to face off against the St. Paul's Big Red at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Phillips Academy can't be too happy about their upcoming road game considering what happened when they opened their season away from home back in March. They fell 5-0 to Prospect.

Meanwhile, St. Paul's waltzed into their matchup on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Wildcats.

The team relied heavily on Jade Hill, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dakota Martinez, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Hill wasn't the only one working in the home run department: St. Paul's lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now launched at least two home runs in three consecutive contests.
