Cordova waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Fultondale Wildcats as they made off with a 17-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Khloe Herron made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time she hasn't allowed a single hit since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in both of her plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Ella Grace Madison and Camden Johnson did most of the damage at the plate: Madison went a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple, while Johnson went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. What's more, Johnson posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Vance, who scored two runs and stole two bases.

Cordova was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .316 or higher in seven consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Cordova's record now sits at 5-1.

Coming up, Cordova will be playing at home against Cullman at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fultondale, they will venture away from home to take on Shades Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
