Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the Lebanon Yellowjackets. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 17-2 to the Yellowjackets when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Lebanon, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-6.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-1 loss against Fair Grove on the 23rd. As for Lebanon, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-6 win against Bolivar on the 23rd.
