Recap: Fivay Falcons vs. Berkeley Prep Buccaneers
On Friday, Fivay beat Berkeley Prep 41-34. The win made it back-to-back wins for Fivay.
Fivay got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordana Montaner Rodgers out in front who scored 12 points along with 6 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Montaner Rodgers has scored at least 25% of Fivay's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Naimah Mota, who scored 7 points along with 8 rebounds.
Fivay's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Berkeley Prep, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Fivay will head out on the road to face off against Mitchell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Mitchell focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday. As for Berkeley Prep, they will take on Zephyrhills at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
