Softball Recap: Beech Grove Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Beech Grove entered their tilt with Warren Central on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Warriors 8-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hornets also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.

Kyrah Pierle looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Mylee Boling was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Harper Moore, who went 2-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Beech Grove kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive matchups.

Beech Grove's record is now 4-7-1. As for Warren Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Beech Grove didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-0 victory against Pike on the 21st. As for Warren Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 15-5 defeat against Whiteland on the 21st.
