Basketball Recap: University Comes Up Short

University played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Middle College Bulldogs, falling 63-35. The Tigers were down 52-26 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

University lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being LaTrevius Gant, who posted eight points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ivory Allen, who put up eight points and five rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for University and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Middle College, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

University didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-56 win against Manassas on the 13th. As for Middle College, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 57-52 victory against Soulsville on the 13th.
