Neosho hadn't done well against Branson recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Wildcats walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Pirates. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 12-2 win the Pirates walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Bostyn Patterson looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jaden Nichols, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaiden Fisher, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Neosho's victory bumped their record up to 21-8. As for Branson, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.

As of now, neither Neosho nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
