Football Recap: Bloomingdale Falls Despite Big Games from Sammy Zelaya and I'sion Branton

Bloomingdale lost against East Bay back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulls fell 21-14 to the Indians. The Bulls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

I'Sion Branton and Sammy Zelaya certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Branton picked up 64 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Zelaya threw for 115 yards and a pair of TDs.

The critical scores for East Bay came from Michael Walker, Richard McClary, and Dorian Edwards.

Bloomingdale now has a losing record of 1-2. As for East Bay, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Bloomingdale wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 44-0 win against Brandon on the 19th. As for East Bay, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 41-21 loss against Blake on the 19th.
