Volleyball Recap: Redwater Comes Up Short

Redwater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the De Kalb Bears. The shutout was out of character for the Dragons seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

While Redwater was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into De Kalb's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-19, 25-23.

Redwater's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for De Kalb, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-10.

Coincidentally, Redwater and De Kalb will both be playing Liberty-Eylau the next time they take the court. The Dragons will head out to face the Leopards at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Bears will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
