Softball Recap: Greer Yellow Jackets vs. Berea Bulldogs

After flying high against Greenville H on Thursday, Greer came back down to earth. The Yellow Jackets fell just short of the Berea Bulldogs by a score of 7-5 on Friday. The Yellow Jackets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

Adison Howard made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Merritt, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Greer's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Berea, they moved to 8-8 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.
