Anamosa typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Mt. Vernon proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Raiders 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won four in a row.

Mt. Vernon never let Anamosa on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22, 25-17.

Mt. Vernon's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Anamosa, their loss ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-12.
