LaCrosse came up big in Lyons' 2-1 victory
While Friday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Zack LaCrosse. Jefferson Academy had no answer to LaCrosse on Friday as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched.
LaCrosse and Lyons will be playing in front of their home fans against Byers at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. LaCrosse has dominated as far as walks are concerned (he's averaged 0 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Byers has only allowed 4.25 per game this season.
