Brevard won the last time they faced Smoky Mountain and things went their way on Friday too. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 17-11 win. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Brevard's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Smoky Mountain, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brevard will host Polk County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
