Volleyball Recap: Durfee Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Bridgewater-Raynham on Tuesday, Durfee came back down to earth. The Hilltoppers came up short against the Somerset Berkley Regional Raiders on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Hilltoppers haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-11, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Durfee still got an impressive performance from Sarah Raposa, who had 15 digs. Kaitlyn Madison-McCloskey also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Somerset Berkley Regional was led to victory by Madison Bednarz and Ryleigh Brown. Bednarz had six digs and three aces, while Brown had eight digs and two aces.

Durfee's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Somerset Berkley Regional, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Durfee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against New Bedford on the 10th. As for Somerset Berkley Regional, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Dighton-Rehoboth Regional on the 15th.
