The Chesnee Eagles kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lewisville. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Chesnee of the 4-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
Kylie Warren wasn't going to let Lewisville walk away unscathed as she scored both of Chesnee's goals.
Chesnee will head out on the road to square off against Blue Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Blue Ridge will be up against Chesnee's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive showing. As for Lewisville, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Chester at 6:00 p.m.
