Flag Football Recap: Strong Effort on D from Cristiona King and Jeriyah Mackey Leads Warner Robins over Perry

If Perry wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Warner Robins, they should've done a better job of containing Joselyn Cassanova. The Demons walked away with a 13-0 win over the Panthers on Thursday with plenty of help from Cassanova, who rushed for 150 yards and one TD on only 12 carries, and also threw for 60 yards and one touchdown while completing 75% of her passes. Her longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain her lofty yards per carry total.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Warner Robins' defense and their eight sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Cristiona King and Jeriyah Mackey, who racked up all eight sacks between them. King has been hot, having posted two or more sacks the last eight times she's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Warner Robins and bumps their season record up to 7-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 points in those games. As for Perry, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
