Football Recap: Terrell County Comes Up Short

Terrell County extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-5. They took a blow against the Mitchell County Eagles, falling 44-8. If the Greenwave were looking for revenge after losing 40-6 to the Eagles when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Mitchell County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Mitchell County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jonathan Isom, who picked up 46 receiving yards and one score, and also punched in one rushing score.
