Person extended their losing streak  to six  on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 6-12 in the process. They fell  13-8 to the Orange Panthers. Even though they lost, the Rockets' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.1 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
  Madison Snead made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-4 with three  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Camryn Clarke, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  run and one  double.
As for Orange, their win bumped their record up to 7-5. The high-scoring effort was just what they needed considering they were shut out in their previous   matchup.
 On Orange's side,  Katie Carden was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base. Those  two  doubles gave  Carden a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Hayleigh Hammond, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 Person wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  a  7-6  loss against Southern Alamance on the 17th. As for Orange, they have also already played their next contest,  a  12-1  defeat against Wakefield on the 16th.
