Basketball Recap: Sevastopol Takes a Loss

Sevastopol lost against Southern Door back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The game between the Sevastopol Pioneers and the Southern Door Eagles didn't end well, with the Sevastopol Pioneers falling 68-52. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 369th, while the Eagles are ranked 50th).

Sevastopol has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Southern Door, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sevastopol has already played their next contest (against Algoma), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Southern Door has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Crivitz.
