Fort Wayne Snider had won three straight at home, but on Wednesday they bumped their record up to 15-4 to make it four. They had just enough and edged out the Norwell Knights 5-4. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 5-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Brandon Logan was incredible, going 1-for-2 with four stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was Landen Fry, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

As for Norwell, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs.

On Norwell's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Turk, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Will Case was another, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Wayne Snider will face off against Fort Wayne South Side at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Norwell, they will challenge Huntington North at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
