Basketball Recap: East Paulding Comes Up Short

East Paulding was the 45-40 winner over South Paulding when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The East Paulding Raiders lost to the South Paulding Spartans on the road by a 45-30 margin on Tuesday.

Chloe Vandyke was a one-woman wrecking crew for South Paulding as she almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. Vandyke is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Chalyse Brown, who posted eight points.

East Paulding's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for South Paulding, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

East Paulding didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-41 victory against Villa Rica on the 17th. As for South Paulding, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 43-37 defeat against Alexander on the 17th.
