Basketball Recap: East Knox Takes a Loss

East Knox lost against Cardington-Lincoln back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The East Knox Bulldogs took a 45-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardington-Lincoln Pirates. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kinstin Henthorn was the offensive standout of the match as she went 7 of 17 en route to 19 points. Lundyn Blevins was another key player, putting up three points in addition to five assists and four steals.

East Knox's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Cardington-Lincoln, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Knox will host Mt. Gilead at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. East Knox is facing Mt. Gilead at the right time seeing as Mt. Gilead is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Cardington-Lincoln, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Centerburg at 7:30 p.m. Centerburg knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Cardington-Lincoln likes a good challenge.
