Basketball Game Preview: Roselle Rams vs. Newark Tech Terries

The Roselle Rams will venture away from home to take on the Newark Tech Terries at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Roselle has given up an average of 51.3 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Tuesday, Roselle needed a bit of extra time to put away Perth Amboy. They secured a 62-58 W over the Panthers.

Roselle got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Zaire Hopson out in front who posted 14 points and four steals. With that strong performance, Hopson is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. Dean Scott was another key player, putting up 14 points and eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, Newark Tech posted their closest win since January 27, 2025 on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-49 victory over Ramapo. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Terries.

Roselle's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Newark Tech, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
