Basketball Game Preview: Pisgah Bears vs. East Henderson Eagles

The Pisgah Bears will challenge the East Henderson Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Pisgah's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.

On Tuesday, Pisgah earned a 72-62 win over Tuscola.

Meanwhile, East Henderson put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against North Henderson by a score of 53-41. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while the Knights are ranked 326th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pisgah is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.5 points per game. As for East Henderson, their victory was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-0.

Pisgah ended up a good deal behind East Henderson when the teams last played back in January, losing 66-48. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of East Henderson's Caiden Brewer, who almost dropped a double-double on 34 points and nine boards.
