Volleyball Recap: Chilton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Chilton and Valders meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Vikings. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Vikings when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-11, 25-15.

Taylor Bryge paced Chilton's offense, picking up nine kills. Bryge got some help from Brooklyn Durdahl and her 11 assists. Bryge also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Mya McGinnis, each putting up two.

Chilton has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. As for Valders, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-9.

Chilton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Peshtigo on the 11th. As for Valders, they will challenge Sheboygan Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
