Summit hadn't done well against Franklin recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Spartans never let the Admirals get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. The victory was nothing new for Summit as they're now sitting on four straight.

Summer Riley and Gracie Dooley scored both of Summit's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Summit's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Franklin, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.

Summit wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Independence on the 11th. As for Franklin, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Nolensville on the 11th.
