Basketball Game Preview: Palisades Dolphins vs. Fairfax Lions

Palisades hasn't had much luck against Fairfax recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Palisades Dolphins will face off against the Fairfax Lions at 7:30 p.m.

Palisades is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Westchester on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Palisades came up short against Westchester, falling 59-34. The match marked the Dolphins' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Fairfax beat Venice 65-60 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Palisades' defeat dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Fairfax, their victory bumped their record up to 11-13.

Palisades came out on top in a nail-biter against Fairfax in their previous meeting last Monday, sneaking past 54-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Palisades since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
