Highland extended their  winning streak to eight games  thanks to a huge performance from  Alexis Eley. The Hawks were the clear victors by  a  38-13 margin over the Liberty Lions on Saturday thanks in part to  Eley, who rushed for 119 yards and two  touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 177 yards and three  TDs while completing 80% of her passes. She has been hot, having  posted three or more  passing touchdowns the last seven times she's  played.
 Ela Witcher was  Eley's top target, picking up 101 receiving yards and one  score. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 86 yards.
 Highland's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB  four times.  Kylie Riggs was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks herself.
Highland's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Liberty, they now  have a losing record of 4-5.
 Highland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  41-7  win against Mountain Ridge on the 11th. As for Liberty, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  contest,  a  21-14  loss against Basha on the 14th.
