Durango and Bayfield are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2019, but not for long. The Demons will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Durango will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Palisade, who they had gone 0-4 against in their four prior meetings. The Demons came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Demons.

Durango was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-27, 25-17, 27-25.

Centauri typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Bayfield proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons.

Bayfield's got stronger as the match went on, holding Centauri to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20, 25-18.

Durango's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Bayfield, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's contest: Durango has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.5 aces per game. However, it's not like Bayfield struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.2 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
