Soccer Recap: Old Town Comes Up Short

Old Town lost against Orono back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Coyotes lost 9-1 to the Riots. While losing is never fun, Old Town can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine soccer rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while Orono are ranked 23rd).

Old Town's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Orono, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Old Town will challenge Mount Desert Island at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Orono, they will take on Central at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
