Volleyball Game Preview: Sylmar Spartans vs. Grant Lancers

The Sylmar Spartans will face off against the Grant Lancers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Sylmar is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Sylmar is returning to their home court after beating Panorama on theirs, despite the fact Panorama has dominated at home this season. Sylmar walked away with a 3-1 victory over Panorama on Wednesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 22-25, 25-17, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Grant got the win against Verdugo Hills on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Dons recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Grant never let Verdugo Hills on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-18, 25-23.

Grant's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3. As for Sylmar, their win bumped their record up to 16-8.
