Basketball Recap: Capital Comes Up Short

Capital managed to slip by Pecos the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Jaguars took a blow against the Panthers on Friday, falling 57-27. The Jaguars were down 40-18 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Capital is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Pecos, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Capital wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 52-36 defeat against Belen on the 13th. As for Pecos, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-42 victory against West Mesa on the 13th.
