Basketball Game Preview: Buffalo Bison vs. Moorhead Spuds

The Buffalo Bison will take on the Moorhead Spuds at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Buffalo is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell 83-74 to Rogers on Tuesday. That makes it the first time this season the Bison have let down their home crowd.

Meanwhile, Moorhead ended up a good deal behind Fargo Davies on Tuesday and lost 65-46. The Spuds haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Buffalo's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3. As for Moorhead, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything went Buffalo's way against Moorhead in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as Buffalo made off with an 84-63 victory. Does Buffalo have another victory up their sleeve, or will Moorhead turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
