Basketball Recap: Troy Takes a Loss

Troy lost against Kendrick two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Troy Trojans took a hard 61-45 fall against the Kendrick Tigers.

Hali Anderson was her usual excellent self, going 10 for 17 to rack up 27 points along with seven boards and five assists for Kendrick. That makes it three consecutive games in which Anderson has scored at least a third of Kendrick's points. Another player making a difference was Hailie Hoffman, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 10 points and seven steals.

Troy has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season. As for Kendrick, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Troy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kendrick, they will face off against Kamiah at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
