Lincoln was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Childersburg Tigers. That's two games straight that the Golden Bears have won by exactly five runs.

The win made it two in a row for Lincoln and bumps their season record up to 15-7-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Childersburg, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
