Basketball Recap: Winlock Comes Up Short

Winlock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Morton/White Pass Timberwolves, falling 67-19. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-12 back in January.

Winlock's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Morton/White Pass, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-9.

Winlock and Morton/White Pass could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. Winlock (ranked 302nd) will meet Napavine (ranked 44th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Morton/White Pass will face off against Adna at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 168 places (175 vs. 7).
