Braydon Wood gave up the fewest hits he has since back in March on Tuesday. He was dynamite, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Even though Wood couldn't lead Minerva over Marlington, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sadly, Wood's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Lions' three-game streak of wins at home.
