Baseball Game Preview: Crockett County Cavaliers vs. Brighton Cardinals

The Crockett County Cavaliers will face off against the Brighton Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Brighton took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Crockett County, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Crockett County turned things around against Munford on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cougars, sneaking past 4-2.

Meanwhile, Brighton came up short against White Station on Saturday and fell 8-5. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brady Ray was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Brighton is 2-1 when Ray posts three or more hits, but 6-9 otherwise.

Brighton's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Crockett County, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
