Baseball Game Preview: Bloomfield Hills Black Hawks vs. Groves Falcons

For the second straight game, Bloomfield Hills will face off against Groves. The Black Hawks will square off against the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Bloomfield Hills has three straight wins, Groves has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Bloomfield Hills barely beat Groves the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Black Hawks put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 14-1 victory on Thursday. The contest marked the Black Hawks' most dominant win of the season so far.

Hunter F looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Levi Y was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Eddie H also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Bloomfield Hills always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Groves' loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Bloomfield Hills, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
